BlogHeist Editorial Policy

BlogHeist is a great platform to share your knowledge and experience with respect to making money online. While this is more of a community, to ensure our articles have a consistent voice for our users, we follow various guidelines, and we have outlined them below.
Our reviewers ensure that our articles are strictly in line with this Editorial Policy.
Our Blogging Principles
1) What Do We Expect Out of Each Content?
- Our articles are crafted to be concise & beginner-friendly
- Before writing each sentence, think of a question – Can you convey the same in a more concise & beginner-friendly?
- Trust is our most important value to our readers. So we back all our points with stats & fact-checks.
- We do not encourage our writers to review a product or tool before they have hands-on experience.
- We prefer adding a screenshot for every one or two paragraphs to ensure a better experience for our readers in understanding
2) Target Audience
- Our content is aimed at people interested in earning money online.
- Blogging is one such method to earn money online.
- WordPress is one of those platforms for creating blogs.
- Plugins, Themes, and Hosting are utilities required to create a WordPress Blog.
- SEO, Social Media are platforms helpful in improving the visibility of the website.
3) Objective
- The Objective of each piece of content published on our website is to offer value to our readers with info about the product/platform & any useful tutorial.
- All our content would have a takeaway for the audience in the form of actionable advice.
The Writing Part ✍
At BlogHeist, we follow a clear writing process with feedback incorporated at each step.
Note: We never encourage our writers to accept a topic if they don’t have first-hand experience with it. This means they can’t review a product they have never tried.
1) Tone
At BlogHeist, we strive to create informational and reader-friendly content. We follow these basic guidelines to set the tone right:
- Vary sentence structure and avoid starting most sentences with the same word. This helps to keep the content exciting and dynamic.
- Aim for clarity and precision in the writing.
- Ensure the ideas are communicated clearly and concisely.
- Don’t be afraid to take the time to explain things fully, but try to avoid rambling or going off on tangents.
- Our readers are the most important consideration. So we ask our writers to put themselves in the readers’ shoes and ensure that the ideas they’re trying to convey come across as intended.
- If something is unclear or confusing, we encourage taking the time to rework it so it is clear.
Our Insider Tip – To keep the content fluent and easy to read, we encourage our writers and readers to try reading the content aloud 4-5 times & see how they can communicate better.

2) Grammar

This helps us easy to spot errors and ensure our content is written in American English.
If you’re interested in learning more about Grammarly and its ability to proofread, we recommend checking our detailed review on Grammarly.
3) Word Count
We don’t believe in having a set word count for an article or using AI tools to come up with a number.
Instead, we ask our writers to come up with ‘What is sufficient to help users know everything about the topic‘.
4) Introduction
- The introduction is one of the most important parts of the article, given that it helps the reader to dive into the article.
- That’s why a good introduction should be clear and easily understandable. Most importantly, it should be created thinking from the reader’s point of view.
- So we ensure our introduction addresses the problem and the solution discussed in the article. This will prevent readers from wasting time unnecessarily skimming the content.
- Notes, Update, and Disclaimer, if any, will be included in the Introduction.
