The Creperie is one of those places that have been around forever and you know the food is good, but you always forget to go there. Locally owned and established in 1976, it has been an important part of French food in Edmonton for many, many years.
Before Christmas, a friend and I decided to go and take advantage of their lunch special. I haven’t been there in years and I was excited to visit again. The interior looked much like I remember – dark walls, dim lighting… a few years ago I recommended the place to a friend for a romantic dinner and the atmosphere certainly fits. The service was not great, but unfortunately that seems to be the norm nowadays. Flagging down a waitress so that you can pay your bill or refill your water is not fun.
